Our DVSJ March club meeting will be held at the Roadhouse 8:30 a.m. We are in preparation for the annual April elections of officers and directors. There are two director positions that are open. If you are interested in becoming a board member please come to the meeting or get in touch with Lorraine (DVSJ Secretary) so that your name can be placed on the ballot. We must receive your intentions by this meeting if you would like to join this fabulous club’s board of directors.

STRATTON REC AREA - on 710 Trail.
One of our club riders recommended that if you ride to this event the better trail system is to head north on C7-100 trail toward Woodford. Then go north on the 7N and ride on the 710 trail from there to the Stratton Rec Center. If anyone has other suggestions. Please add your comments.
Due to warm temps 58 and no snow trails have bare rock areas and thin cover. In case you need to know trails conditions any time - just check VAST -

The DVSJ trails system got 2 inches of rain. Fingers are crossed. It is recommended to stay off the trails so they can set back up again. Our scouts are out to assess the conditions. Stay tuned for updates. You sure don’t want this to happen
An update on DVSJ trails for 2019 riding season:
South trail closure to Bear Naked Brewery/ Metcalfe’s Distillery - Jacksonville EZ-Riders - Hogback parking lot. Over the summer DVSJ was notified by the landowner on Higley Hill that trail access was being closed. The BoD quickly and diligently went to work on the reroute.
